Abruzzo region, Just 60 miles East of Rome, in the recent year has grown in the heart of foreign tourists. yet remain one few off-the beaten-track destination in Italy. For those interested in a journey to explore ancient traditions, and enjoy an “honest” cuisine and wine produced in the pristine Abruzzo highlands, we have arranged the Enduring Tradition Tour.
Traveling in a slow pace environment offers you a back-to-basic experience so that you will be able to savor and appreciate every moment of your trip, either you are sipping a glass of Montepulciano Red wine, in the square of a charming village or when you bike surrounded by green mountains, or along the sea-side scenic Trabocchi Coastline. Abruzzo is one of the most bike-friendly regions of Italy, and out itinerary will take you in a memorable journey from the Highlands of Abruzzo National Park to the Trabocchi Coast. Hidden Treasures a step away from Rome
Driving along the highway A24, the most scenic Italy mountain route, you will find yourself in the hearth of Abruzzo region. A mosaic of plateau up to 5,000 feet surrounded by Alpine shape mountains topping 8,000-9,000 feet, deep canyons, green valleys and alpine lakes. With the largest cluster of National Parks and Protected areas in Italy, Abruzzo houses an unbelievable wide range of indigenous wild animals and vegetation, where you can enjoy breathtaking view of a colorful landscape and wildlife watching.
On the eastern side of the region, between the mountain range and the golden beaches of the Adriatic sea, lays a typical Tuscan landscape of rolling hills, vineyards and olive growth, while n outstanding numbers of the most quaint villages in Italy and historic and Religious sites, hidden treasures still waiting to be found.

Abruzzese cuisine is rooted in ancient rural traditions still happening nowadays, like the Transumanza, when in the spring and in the fall, herds take a long journey from the mountains to the valleys and vice-versa.
