Day 1 San Pantaleo
Your private driver will meet you at Olbia airport to transfer at your boutique hotel in the characteristic village. Time at leisure in San Pantaleo.
Day 2 Emerald Coast and Gallura
Today, visit Emerald Coast. The first stop will be in Porto Cervo, the brightly colored 1960’s retreat and jet-setting town, which harbor is a must-stop for luxury motor and sailing yachts. Time at leisure in Porto Cervo. After lunch, short drive to Gallura hillside for a Wine Tour to the Vigne Serrau, internationally acclaimed wine estate, to enjoy their Vermentino of Gallura and Cannonau, which are produced only in Sardinia.
Day 3 Maddalena Archipelagos
Today, explore La Maddalena Archipelago by cruising by sailboat around the National Marittime Park of Maddalena Archipelago. You will have a chance to enjoy a leisure swim , in the crystal clear and unpolluted waters. Depending of the sea weather condition, this tour might be replaced with a visit to a Nuraghe archaeological site, Sardinia oldest human settlements, and a local pecorino cheese factory, including cheese tasting.
Day 4 Alghero & Bosa
Transfer to Alghero. In the morning Olive Oil tasting tour. Alghero is known also as the “Little Barcelona” for the Catalan flavor of its historic center. After lunch in Alghero walking tour with a private guide to explore this charming town. Transfer to Bosa, one of Sardinia’s most beautiful towns, as quoted by Lonely Planet:” Seen from a distance, its rainbow towns-cape resembles a vibrant Paul Klee canvas”. Finally, before heading to your hotel in Oristano, Malvasia wine tasting in a local winery.
Day 5 Cooking Class
Morning at leisure or optional activity, then hands-on cooking class to discover some of the secrets of this exquisite cuisine. Your chef will use only local organically produced ingredients and focus of your cooking class class will be on Sardinia specialty pasta making and seafood. Dinner with the prepared dishes.
Day 6 Nuraghe & Bread Museum
The Meilogu Region, during the Roman Empire, was one of the largest source of grain. As matter of fact, the ancient bread making tradition evolved overtime in a exquisite for of art. Today, you will learn about the skill of bread making by Sardinian women through the centuries by visiting the Bread Museum in Borore. After lunch in a typical restaurant, a visit to Nuraghe Losa and the Holy Well of Santa Cristina, or Su Nuraxi di Barumini milestones of Nuraghi civilization.
Day 7 Cagliari
In the morning, transfer to Cagliari, an ancient city with a long history. First, Food Tour the largest fresh seafood and typical Sardinian delicatessen open market in Sardinia. Stop for lunch in a characteristic restaurant for a typical cuisine tasting and wine pairing. At your choice focus of the tasting will be on cheese and meat, or on seafood. After lunch, walking tour in Cagliari to enjoy the well preserved medieval downtown.
